One of our commitments to sustainability includes creating value in local communities, thus contributing to social development. Cultivating permanent bonds, where transparency and reliability are strengthened. Caring for our environment, conserving ecosystems and managing our business in an environmentally responsible manner can already be found in Ultramar’s approach, and forms part of our vision for the future.

We have a strategy supported by five pillars that commit us to a direction that began at our inception. We are part of the Global Compact, which comits us to adapt universal principles related to human rights, labour standars, enviroment and anti-corruption. This network promotes the generation of alliances that contribute to the fulfillment of the United Nations 2030 agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY ULTRAMAR

We published our Sustainability Strategy in 2019, based on five pillars and 13 commitments that arose from our triple-impact management model and contribute to achieving 10 of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.  These pillars challenge us to constantly improve and commit us to sustainably manage our economic, social and environmental development.
