During World Environment Day, Nodus inaugurated its new changing rooms with showers, designed for people who jog or bike to work.
These are four individual changing rooms with a shower on the sixth floor of the company’s offices. They have no gender distinction, which optimizes waiting times. The facilities use technology that limits the amount of time that hot water is supplied, to ensure that this resource is responsibly used and that more people can enjoy it.
Simultaneously, a bicycle parking area was added to the building, which is visible to the public, making Nodus an example of cultural change that may inspire neighboring companies and organizations.
The Nodus project was coordinated by ReAcción, who support and advise those who want to develop individual, collective, domestic or commercial habits that impact their sustainability. The initiative was supported by the Montevideo City Hall, the National Sports Secretariat, the Labor Reconversion Program (Progretec), Bicimundo and Unibici.
